*this was an older teenage girls bed, with that being said she used lots of creams, body
Lotions including tanning creams and hair vitamin oils hence all the stains.

With stains. if you look on the pottery barn website, it may tell you how to get the stains out as I am sure there are a lot of teenage girls that use this style bed and have had the same problem. The stains should be able to come out. Whether it’s a spray and wipe down with resolve, a professional to come and clean it, a carpet/upholstery steam cleaner. I can’t promise, but I think the stains may come out or at least get a lot lighter. It’s a beautiful expensive bed that would look great in anyone’s bedroom. I’m sure any one would be thrilled with it and if it’s going to a teenager or younger child, of course they’re going to stain it so why not start them off with this one? I took pictures of all of the stains, so there won’t be any surprises on pick up day, but the bed is in very sturdy solid condition.
