Item Description

Post War Occupied Japan MARUNI Lacquer on Metal Serving Tray
Tray measures 17 1/2" x 10 3/4
Hand decorated in Gold & Red with Japanese motifs of Pagoda's, Trees, Flowers and Geisha.
There are light scratches from use.
No Chips, Dents, Loss of Lacquer or Design.
Clearly marked on the back:
Maruni, Made by Hand in Occupied Japan, Metal Base Lacquerware, 57-60.
The "Occupied Japan" mark dates this tray to the years between 1945 - 1952.
