Item Description

A fantastic original silkscreen by world renowned artist SHEPARD FAIREY, titled 'Capital Gain'. It is hand signed and numbered, the subject matter dealing with the oil embargo and greed of the oil giants. Amazing subject, the Capitol Building laying start contract to a newsprint-style background in tan and beige. Has Fairey's OBEY cypher on the lower-righthand corner. An example recently sold at a SOTHEBY's auction for well over $500-, so a desirable piece of art that will only appreciate further in value as time goes on. Measures 18" by 24", not including the frame. Condition is pristine.
