Absolutely stunning antique curio cabinet exquisitely crafted in England in the late half of the nineteenth century of mahogany with ornately carved and molded details including a three-quarters lattice work gallery top with a fan and flourish crest. The door with original working skeleton key unlocks to reveal three glass shelves surrounded on three sides by glass panels to display your treasures and a hidden shelf beneath for clever out-of-sight storage. This piece bears the tag of very highly regarded cabinet makers Edward & Roberts and the address in Piccadilly London matches that registered with the company beginning in 1845 in London. This is a truly special piece.
Notes: In very good condition for its age at likely 125 years old! One small piece of molding on the side towards the lower portion of the glass panel is missing (shown in photos). Otherwise only the most minor patina of age to the wood.
