GOLD WASH OVAL VICTORIAN FRAME, Photograph Of Pretty Young Woman, Lillian Lemmon, Meriden Silver Plate Co. CT

Here we have a framed sepia photograph of the lovely Lillian Lemmon. Her name is written in pencil on the back of the photo. She is very pretty, with beautiful long curly hair, and looks like she could have been a lady of the stage, perhaps a Connecticut actress in Victorian times.

The oval metal frame had a gold wash, however most of that wore away on the front. The edges are done in beaded metal decoration. On the reverse it states that it was made and plated by the Meriden Silver Plate Co., 47, USA. There is a ring to hang the photo.

The beaded frame is 6 1/2" tall by 4 7/8". The area for the photo is 4 3/4" by 3 1/4".

Notes: Please view the numerous, detailed photos for an accurate appraisal of item condition. The plating on the front is gone, for the most part. The glass is missing. The photo has scratches, discoloration, staining.
