Museum Size Japanese Cloisonne Jardiniere With Wooden Stand 1 Of 2 40W X 26 1/2"H

An elegant and colorful vintage fishbowl of monumental size standing on a carved fruitwood base. Round in shape, the large, exotic porcelain planter features Classic scenes of Asian culture throughout and decorated with floral and aquatic motifs. The enameled vase is painted on the inside with a traditional koi floral illustration. Overall, the East Asian piece is in wonderful condition with multi-color palette and gilt accents. A must-have for a huge entryway or for the chinoiserie collector. Stamped on the bottom with Asian character mark.
