Item #2057188
Lot #5 of 165
Item Description

A MASSIVE authentic fossil MEGALODON shark tooth, measuring an impressive 5.81" in length, with a weight of nearly 14 ounces [rarely this large/heavy]. Oil-black color, with sharp edge serration, good enamel and a full root. Megalodon was an apex predator, essentially a 65 foot-long, 75-ton predecessor to the modern Great White shark [the size of a whale, though]. It ate everything and anything it shared the water with, including whales and other sharks. Teeth of this size command large sums of $$$ on the open market. Please refer to the photos, which don't fully convey how impressive it is in person.

6-It is up to you- the winning bidder- to contact us if shipping is required. We have no way of knowing otherwise. Often, out of state buyers pick their winnings up in person. Please call Marco @ 475-319-1085 to make arrangements. Please call at a reasonable hour. Harder to help if I receive a call at 3 am requesting shipping, because I'll likely be sleeping.
7- There is a $5- handling fee per package [not individual item], to cover the rising cost of boxes, packing materials, and bubble wrap. In the past, we were losing a good amount each auction on shipping. Not an attempt to make profit. We are simply trying to break even for a service we provide.
