Marchand Electronics XM-44 2-way Crossover

A Marchand XM-44 two way line level electric (active) crossover purchased directly from the manufacturer and unused. Electronic crossovers improve the sound of a sound system by separating the high-frequency sounds from the low-frequency sounds and using a separate power amplifier and speaker for each. This is called Bi-Amping. The XM-44 crossover is also ideal for driving a powered subwoofer. These are considered to be one of the finest electronic crossovers on the market. They rarely come up for sale, and you can save hundreds over the cost of a new one. Comes with additional cards and crossover diagram/instructions.

Steep 24 dB/octave 4-th order slope (Linkwitz-Riley) standard.
Any slope available (6,12,18,24,30,36,42 or 48 dB/oct)
Asymmetric or symmetric slopes (different slopes can be mixed)
Crossover frequency 20Hz - 20 KHz.
Subwoofer summing switch.
Heavy duty gold plated RCA connectors for input and output.
Standard 12 position attenuators, 1 dB/step, for level control on all outputs.
A 100 hertz card is installed in this unit. Other cards are included if another crossover point is needed.
