Lovely, Mid-Century Spode Copeland Luncheon Plates With Daisy Border (set Of 12)

This lovely set of 12 scalloped bone china plates are by the legendary English maker Copeland. Each plate is signed by the artist, J Price and on the back of each plate is the pattern number S2280 and the brown Copeland mark that was in use in the 1950s. The pattern features finely painted displays of fruits (each a bit different) encircled by a band of textured cream colored bone china.

Six different designs are included in this set.

Condition: All six plates are in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, marks, repairs or wear. There is crazing on each plate, some of it significant; this is typical of plates in this pattern.
