Lot Of Four Cast Iron Train Engines (3) & Train Passenger Car (1) . After reviewing carefully - we believe two of these are antique cast iron toys and two are reproductions.
1. Red Passenger Car - marked "Washington 44" - this is a reproduction. It is in good condition and has all of its parts and all 8 solid tires on 4 axels. 9 1/4" long x 2 1/2" wide x 4" tall.
2. (largest of the) Black Engine - has all the accessories and all 8 tires (4 smaller solid) & (4 larger with spokes). This is a reproduction as it has a Phillips head screw holding it together. 8 1/4" long x 4" tall x 2 3/4" wide. You can still make our the gold paint highlights of lines on the sides.
3. Medium Black Engine - we believe this is a true antique cast iron but it has some issues -2 large tires with spokes on 1 axel, 4 tires and 2 axels are missing, it has a piece of its pilot (cow catcher) broken off. It has a Bell, a smokestack, a headlight. 9" long x 4" tall x 2 1/2" wide.
4. The smallest Black Engine - Has none of its tires or axels, has noticeable paint loss on the main body. We believe this too is a true antique cast iron but with issues stated. 7" long x 3" tall x 1 1/2" wide. Has "A K 13" in raised letters under the cab windows. This could be a Kenton or Hubley - but we can't be certain.
