Item Description

This Amorphic Abstract painting by Eugene Winters measures 21" high x 18" wide with an overall outside measurement of the frame of 22 7/8" x 20 5/16". This oil is signed lower right. Eugene Winters arrived in the US in 1939 from Austria. He was a member of the Albany Artists Group and his works are held in the permanent collections of the Corning Glass Museum, Toledo Museum of Art, and Albany Institute of History and Art. There are various small cracks, chips, scratches and surface abrasions (Please see photos). This work could benefit from a cleaning.
