Item Description

Antique folding bookcase. Originally used by traveling judges as they navigated their circuits in rural areas. Decorative crown with carved design and scalloped edge. Side panels have a ribbed edge. The four shelves fold up and then the hinged sides fold in so that the bookcase lies flat for transport.

The bookcase measure 25 1/2 x 9 3/4 x 54 inches tall. The case folds closed to 4 1/2 inches deep.
