Large Vintage BALINESE Carved Wood NAGA DUCK SCULPTURE- Mythical Beast

It is a mythical beast in Balinese culture, with elements of the bird god GARUDA, set atop a squat body and large, webbed feet. This is a LARGE sculpture, measuring 16.5" in height, 15.5" in length, 11" across. Hand-painted in a vibrant color palette. The cutout on its' back is NOT damage. The owner of the NAGA DUCK places an offering in the hidden compartment it covers, to bestow him/her with good luck. WE have not opened it to see if there is an offering within [seems rude haha]. Some light rubbing and wear, but it is 50+ years old, and displays well.
