Item Description

A very detailed BRONZE sculpture of the Hindu Idol Avalokiteshvara, often referred to as the 'Thousand Arm Lord'. It stands an impressive 18.5" and makes a striking display. In every hand is a different implement, and it has a total of 11 faces, stacked in 5 tiers. Some old verdigris to the finish, which is understandable considering these idols were often placed outdoors for use during worship. A wonderful sculpture.
