Large Antique ELISHA HOTCHKISS Weight-driven Wall Clock With TIFFANY & CO. Case- Running Order

A substantial antique weight-driven wall clock by Burlington, CT maker Elisha Hotchkiss. It is a handsome clock, the case manufactured by Tiffany & Co. [Hartford, CT], with a pair of turned columns leading to a stencil-painted pediment with side corbels. Large painted square dial with Roman numerals and skeletal window partially showing movement. It is driven by 2 heavy weights, with visible pulleys behind the pediment. It has its' original paper label, rarely there [makes mention of Tiffany & Co. case- shown]. Has the original key. It was run for several days, and looks to be fully operational. Has light rubbing and wear [as well as soiling to label], but shows quite well for a clock that dates to 1860. measures 16" by 31.75".
