Wild and wonderful vase by Laney K. Oxman, signed on bottom and dated 2001. 10.7” tall.

Laney K. Oxman (1946 -) has been an independent studio artist for over 35 years, and works in silver, cast lead crystal, and ceramics. Her concentration and the primary subject in all of the mediums she works is women. Laney has had several one-woman exhibits, and she has represented the American Crafts Council in Paris at ObArt 1987. Her work is included in the permanent collections of the Corning Museum, the Virginia Museum, the White House Collection, the Clinton Library, and the Museum of Art and Design in New York City.
