Vintage Kalart Movie Viewer / Editor , Viewer of all 8mm movies -Dual Purpose Splicer. In Original Box With Instructions
also has original Guarantee papers and the Store price tag. Made in the U.S.A. by the Kalart Company Inc., Plainville, Connecticut. Pamphlet reads: "Now you can "See your Movies" the quick easy way - on a table top-anytime - without darkening the room. And, with your Kalart Editor viewer you can cut out the poor sections, repair films, and arrange movies in story-telling sequence." Design Patent 17651. Copyright 1959.

CONDITION: The viewer (might be a Bakelight body), when I plugged it in- the light and the viewing screen lit up nicely, the box with its period graphics, the electric cord, the Instructions booklets - are all in near Mint Condition. Like the booklet was never read, the cord had the original wind wrap, the box only has a few minor blemishes. Only the Instructions envelope has age darkening and some holes in it- but the Instructions booklet is perfect.
But...this Kalart Editor Viewer has been enjoyed by its original Owner- it has been used at least once- there a a couple of pieces of spliced film in the bottom of the box.
