This set of two uncut lithographs is from 1956. The images may be known as "Peintures murates" or "red and blue circle". This uncut paper is from a unique moment in American history. The gallery label on the back reads "Korvette art gallery" and comes from the E.J. Korvette discount department stores's art gallery experiment. Korvette's was the first discount department store chain and the chain created a "penthouse" that housed an art collection. The paper measures just under 22" x just under 15". The size below is total framed size.
