Joan Miro Uncut Derriere Le Miroir Images With Korvette Art Gallery Label

This set of two uncut lithographs is from 1956. The left side is "Pie y mano" and the right is Figura y mano". This uncut paper is from a unique moment in American history. The gallery label on the back reads "Korvette art gallery" and comes from the E.J. Korvette discount department stores's art gallery experiment. Korvette's was the first discount department store chain and the chain created a "penthouse" that housed an art collection. The paper measures just under 22" x just under 15". The size below is total framed size.

Notes: Not examined out of frame. The glass is loose in the frame. Paper may be laid down.
