Item Description

23 piece silverware set in original gift box by James Dixon & Sons. Founded in 1806 in Sheffield was one of the major British manufacturers of the Industrial Revolution. No attempt made to clean set. Silver needs polishing & handles (unknown material) has some hairline cracks (all still attached & fully functional). Gift box show severe wear and is coming apart in areas. Knives measure 8.5" long & each has JD & Sons stamp. Forks measure 7" & are unmarked as far as we see.
