Huge Unique Folk Art Oil Painting With Hand Carved Wood Frame - Signed G. Kraft

This lot consists of a unique old oil painting. It is signed lower right - Wood Nymph G Kraft 1925 . The painting comes with a hand carved wood frame. Frame was also carved by the artist. The entire piece measures approx. 42" x 92" tall.The painting needs to be nailed into the frame.It is currently just put in place and pops out of the frame. The artist , Gottfried Kraft was an immigrant that came to the US in the early 1900's. He worked for a furniture company(we don't know the name) carving ball and claw foot table bases , among other things. In his spare time he did some painting and carved frames for his work. A most unique piece.
