First is a special " Wolfgang Puck's Modern French Cooking For The American Kitchen ", 1985, - this book has a nice handwritten inscription and autograph from Wolfgang Puck!

Wolfgang Puck is an Austrian-born American celebrity chef and restaurateur, who is famous all over the world for his high-end gourmet restaurants, ( like Spago in Beverly Hills ), catering services and cookbooks. Best known for his signature dish, the House Smoked Salmon Pizza, Puck is also much renowned for whipping up dishes like Classic Chicken Pot Pie and Catalonian Fire Roasted Lamb Rack. His popularity grew even more during the time he hosted an Emmy Award winning TV cooking show.
The special vintage book is by Dione Lucas' " The Cordon Bleu Cookbook " 1947. ( First year- 3rd Printing ). The CORDON BLEU Cook Book by Dione Lucas is a vintage 1947 hardcover cookbook that contains 322 pages of delicious recipes. It was published by Little, Brown & Co. and features beautiful illustrations by Phoebe Nicol. Le Cordon Bleu is a French hospitality and culinary education institution, teaching haute cuisine. Its educational focuses are hospitality management, culinary arts, and gastronomy. The institution consists of 35 institutes in 20 countries and has over 20,000 attendees. One of my sons attended one of their campuses in the US.
