The Hallicrafters SX-99 general coverage receiver tunes from 538 to 34000 kHz in four bands. Ranges: .538-1.6, 1.55-4.6, 4.6-13 and 12-34 MHz. Bandspread: 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10-11 meters. Gray-black cabinet.

Features include: ¼" Head. Jack, S-Meter, Bandspread, Tone (Three Position), Sensitivity, Standby, BFO, Crystal Phasing Control, Antenna Trimmer, Mute Terminals, Dial Lamp, Speaker Terminal, ANL, AVC ON/OFF, Line Output and Hinged Top Cover.

The circuit consists of: 6SG7 RF Amp, 6SA7 Converter, 6SG7 1st IF Amp, 6SK7 2nd IF Amp, 6SC7 Audio Amp/BFO, 6K6GT Audio Output, 6H6 Detector/ANL/AVC, 5Y3 Rectifier. IF= 455 kHz.
