Great trio of Maritime history glass.
The cylindrical lens spins around on a wheel and track system within its base, does not have a light source.
The Round Brass Banded Lens rests upon its base which has a battery operated lightbulb to illuminate the lens. (untested but is presumed to simply require a new battery)
The deck prism is a fine example of a maritime classic.
All are in great condition.
A Fresnel lens is a type of composite compact lens originally developed by French physicist Augustin-Jean Fresnel for lighthouses. It has been called "the invention that saved a million ships."
