A fine Louis XV-style curved glass vitrine cabinet, likely late 19th century, featuring hand-painted Vernis Martin-style panels with romantic scenes. The giltwood frame is adorned with intricate carved detailing, including floral and scroll motifs. The cabinet showcases beveled glass panels on three sides and a hinged glass door. Inside, the cabinet includes multiple glass shelves (currently stored safely) for displaying items. Raised on elegant cabriole legs. This cabinet reflects the opulence of Louis XV design and is ideal for showcasing collectibles or fine china.
Notes: Good overall condition with some signs of wear consistent with age. The painted panels exhibit minor fading and light surface wear. The gilding has areas of rubbing, particularly on the legs and edges. No visible cracks in the glass panels. Glass shelves are intact and stored separately for safety.
