Item Description

This four book lot is full of great reads! Bloomsbury, Calder and a great book on African American quilt symbolism. Bloomsbury Group was known as a collaborative artist group with Vanessa Bell, Roger Fry and Duncan Grant central to the formation of the group. We know it as "Bloomsbury Group" London based. Alexander Calder was a Roxbury, CT artist and a very prolific sculptor of the 20th century. His work is in museums worldwide. Finally, Maude Wahlman is a Professor at the University of MIssouri-Kansas City and she writes and teaches about African, African-American, Meso-American and Native American Art History.
