Fantastic Vintage JOSEPH DE CASTRO POSTMODERNIST Marble Face Sculpture

A wonderful example of his work, a postmodernist face sculpture comprised of a mosaic of different marbles [tessellated], set atop a flared stone base [thin sections of marble tile creating a mosaic]. It dates to the 1980s, a period of sculpture and artwork that is rapidly gaining popularity with collectors. Stands an impressive 21.5", by 14" across. Excellent condition with the exception of a diminutive chip to the base. His sculptures can command into four figures. We are opening it at only $1 with NO reserve.
