Item Description

This amazing estate size dining table has a glass top with side beveled edge. The ornate bottom base in three parts is carved wood on a custom painted ivory and gilt finish with a subtle green patina on top. The chairs are upholstered in an ivory velvet over a carved wood gilt frame. Chairs include 2 arm and 10 armless. Condition is very good on both table and chairs - as well as being pristinely and lovingly maintained. There is some areas on the top finish of the wood table under the glass where patina is wearing off but can also appear to be part of finish - see photos.

If you have the dining space - like to entertain as this owner did - and want to add a Grand Statement Piece to your home this is your table! The table as been in this Greenwich estate for sixty years where its has seen many a dinner party given by its owner known for extravagant soirees!
