Exquisite Vintage Carved Teak Dining Room Table With Eight Chairs ~ Cane To Fabric Reversible Seats

Imported from Hong Kong in the Mid 1960's, here is your opportunity to own an artisan made dining room set. The table and chairs are truly unique. All four sides of the table have deep carved relief panels featuring Chinese junk ships. The table top is peg constructed and opens up to reveal two hidden extensions. The top has a small water stain. The table measures in the close position 60" X 42" x 30". With the two extensions, it measures 83' X 42" X 30".
Also includes two arm chairs and six side chairs with carved details. An added benefit of this fine constructed chairs are reversible seats. One side is cane which easily flip over to an upholstered seat. The chairs are heavy , solid teak. The arm chair measures, 37" X 23" and 18" seat height. One arm of the chair is loose, there is a 1/2" chip on the seat back and its loose at both joints of the handle. The measure of the other six chairs are 36" X 17" x 18" seat height. Wonderful condition and construction. Matching pieces also in this auction.

"PLEAE NOTE" some minor shrinkage of inset top where it meets ledge. There is a 7" crack on one leaf.
