Exquisite Secretary Desk

Probably English, Bookmatched crotch mahogany veneer with inlay. The bookcase top has dentil moldings, and Gothic arched mullions with hand puttied door glasses. The drawers and doors lock and the key is there. The slant front drops down to rest on 2 pull out supports. The writing surface is covered with gilded and embossed leather. The pigeon holed interior has unusual curved drawers and the front corners have unusual fluted columns. The top has 2 adjustable shelves, the dimensions are 35.5" x 18" deep x 85" tall. One drawer has a 4" bead missing. It is in the living room and heavy, bring adequate help.
