To encourage the public to support the war effort many arguments were used to make the case. This poster uses the idea of the farm support with the US Flag prominently displayed in front of the family farm to make the case that buying war bonds will keep that farm vibrant. Excellent color and again 26" x 18". NOT backed with archival fabric and in a basic poster frame. All in all this is a great piece. The colors are very bright and vibrant. The one issue that cannot be seen is that there is a .5" tear top center from the edge down.
This work is by George Kanelous (1915 - 1998) he lived in New York & Florida. He was born in 1915 in Montevideo, Uruguay, of Greek parents & came to the United States in 1918. He illustrated several works during the war.
