This medallion was produced by Medallic Art Co. commemorating the country's bicentennial (1776-1976). It featured on its face an image of Roger Sherman signing the Declaration of Independence and on the opposite side, an image of the Nathan Hale statue with the Greater New Haven Area map behind it and the words "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country".
