Item Description

Very unusual find! Original, unsigned screenprint of Piet Mondrian's "Composition No. 2/Composition of Red, Blue, Yellow & White" was published by Ives-Sillman.

A smaller printed version of Mondrian's piece was one of ten included in a limited edition portfolio "After Piet Mondrian" of 150 that was produced in 1967. https://onlineonly.christies.com/s/first-open-editions/portfolio-10-paintings-584/30075

Current owner is an artist and former printmaker who worked for Ives-Sillman during the time this was printed. The print itself is in very good condition, colors are vibrant - though there is some foxing to the paper border as shown on both sides of the paper.
