Item Description

Eastlake period furniture tends to be rather big & bulky, albeit very attractive you tend to need a big space for it. But this diminutive little 3 drawer dresser is a scaled down version of those large pieces, and oh so much more versatile. Appears to have the original finish, chestnut construction, very solid. All drawers work well, close properly & line up with drawer bottoms intact. Original period matching pulls and locks and of course that beautiful serpentine white marble grained top, undamaged. The backboard has a replacement board mounting it to the dresser, probably a past victim of someone attempting to move it around with that heavy marble on it, and craaaack..... So they had to replace that board but you can't tell as the marble perfectly hides it. Just the neatest little dresser oh so attractive it will grace an old or new home with equal style and flair. Inside the front door for keys, handbags, the mail, etc.....in the bathroom to hold those extra towels & washcloths, your favorite bath accessories on top, or a host other locations. Measures 42" to top of backboard, 36" wide at marble top and 16" deep. Marble comes off making it easier to move about.
