Item Description

Early 19th century hand hewn from pine and crafted with hand tools and hand cut nails. Features a round plank top that tilts upward to showcase a shoe foot chair. The seat lid lifts open for accessory storage. Similar listed on 1st Dibs for $2100 -$ 2400
Historical Note: The term hutch table took form in the early 18th century when it was important to maximize storage and space. The combination of a table and a chest that could quickly be converted into a chair.

Dimensions are shown for table setting. 39.5" D x 29.5" H, seat height is 17.7" - flip top height is 53"

Notes: Surface scuffs to table top. Overall good antique condition. See photos.
