Directoire Figured Walnut Two Drawer Commode, Last Quarter 18th Century

The rectangular molded top above two long drawers, each with inset panels and brass quarter round beaded surrounds, the apron with fluted and incised drop pendent, raised on fluted square tapering legs. Retains shipping label on the back.

Notes: Period brasses have been moved from original location, lock on lower drawer missing, splits, cracks and stains throughout, consistent with age. Please see photos.
