DEPRESSION ERA SQUIRREL FINIAL GLASS POWDER JAR, Pink Glassware Animal Figural Vanity Puff Box, Circa 1930s

I have never run across a figural powder jar with a squirrel figure on the lid. He truly is unique example of a vanity accessory! A highly detailed pink squirrel sits atop this unusual optic glass container. Perfect for your boudoir.

The lid has etched flowers and a diamond pattern design.

This piece MAY have been "married". While the lid fits perfectly and the pink glass tones appear to match exactly, I noticed threads in the jar portion. The lid does not have threads. I am not sure if the two halves were put together, or if this is just the way the glass company made them.
