Amy Labbe has always been artsy as long as she can remember. Her mother has pictures that she drew at a very young age... Amy can remember when she was 10 years old turning her parents screened in porch into an art gallery and trying to sell her decoupage paperweights and paintings to the neighbors. She graduated from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk Jayhawks) with a B.S. in Journalism and Art. She feels as if she has finally found her calling. This art form mixes all of her loves. Re-purposing her many crazy collections of all things old, metal work, her obsession with jewelry, and her smart-Alec personality all in one! Amy has been creating different forms of art all of her life and they have culminated into this awesome form of art jewelry that she has been making since 2000. Her husband, 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 cats all live in small town America. Needless to say, she has a lot of time to create her life's passion.
