One of the most prized original records desired by collectors. Andy Warhols Velvet Underground with un untouched fully intact bannana sticker on front . Most were peeled.
Because of a Royalty dispute that pulled the original pressings from the shelves and the fact that ths sticker is fully intact makes this a rare item. Only 45000 total copies of this original 1967 Stereo version were ever sold worldwide and few remain intact. I am not a record grader but this album itself appears to be in fantastic original vintage condition. No visible scratches or wear . I've taken multiple angles of every detail collectors will want to see including deadwax stamps and other identifiers.
This record came from an estate collection in West Hartford. The collection spanned early 60s to early 80s ranging from 60s rock to a lot of 70s post punk and new wave.
All records and jackets were opened and wiped with a microfiber cloth only designed for records to remove any dust. They were then photographed and slid back in with care.
The entire collection was all bought at the time of release and sat for decades alphabetically and appear played very little and in very good shape.
