In 1968 in Stockbridge, Massachusetts Garry Camp Burdick photographed Norman Rockwell. Some of the photos from that session are now part of the Smithsonian Portrait Gallery's permanent collection. This black and white photo features Rockwell in his studio with a pensive look, paintbrushes in the foreground.
