Item Description

Collection Of 8 French Antique Bookplate Prints Of Monkeys - Frameable Engravings. The read 1775
(the original creation date from which these were made) from the famous French naturalist - Georges-Louis Leclerc, Comte de Buffon (1707 -1788). ** The stickers from Marckle Myers Ltd are on the outside of the plastic bags- NOT on the prints themselves.
The Titles include:
"LE RHESUS"
"LE SINGE NOIR"
"LA GUENON'
"LE PITHEQUE"
"LE SAIMIRI" (This one has a 1" tear in the top left corner)
"LE BONNET - CHINOIS"
"MAGOT"
"LE MICO" (This one has a bit cut into its left hand border, midway up.)

DIMENSIONS: Some are total size pages:5" Tall x 7 1/4" Wide; others have been trimmed smaller.
The artwork on the pages are 4 3/4" Tall x 3 1/4" Wide.
CONDITION: Good for framing and display. maybe a nice collage of all 8 in one larger frame. Please see my photos for the overall clarity and details still enjoyable.

Consistent with age and use.

NO EXCEPTIONS. ITEMS NOT PICKED UP DURING ALLOTTED PICK UP HOURS WILL BE CONSIDERED FORFEITED WITHOUT REFUNDS. IF YOU CAN NOT MAKE THE PICK UP TIMES, SEND A FAMILY MEMBER/ FRIEND WITH YOUR INVOICE.

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES FOR PICK-UP:
- Every buyer MUST wear a mask and bring their own pen for Invoice signature purposes.
- If there is a buyer ahead of you, or Auction Staff members near you, please keep at least 6 feet in-between each other in accordance with the recommended social distancing guidelines.
