Beautiful bisque porcelain bust which appears to be a replica of a sculpture by Jean-Antoine Houdon (1741-1828) of Louise Brongniart . These are the work of artist Camille Tharaud (1878-1956). Marked Limoges France Tharaud. Light marks on front - have not been attempted to be cleaned.
Louise was the child the of famous French architect Alexandre-Théodore Brongniart (1739-1813), who designed the Parisian Palais.
