Item Description

Beautiful old vintage circa 1930 "gossip bench" or telephone table/seat crafted from what looks to be oak, with intricately carved grape bunch and leaf pattern on the legs and cross cutouts along the back of the base. Comes complete with removable custom seat cushion with vintage tree pattern toile fabric. This piece was acquired by the current owner's grandmother (born in 1901) around the time of her wedding/early married life and has remained in the family since.

Notes: Some wear consistent with age mostly to the very bottom of the legs. Actually in wonderful condition considering it is approaching 100 years old!
