An unusual mystery wherein you actually get to play detective. The work comes with a folio of "Top Secret" documents from the President of the United States and the Secretaries of Defense, the CIA, and the British Prime Minister. 1967 first edition. The novel is set initially in Paris, and takes its title from an Oscar Wilde quotation about the said city. (Paris is a very expensive place to die. ) The action concerns the shady dealing and possible expensive pimping of one Monsieur Datt against a background of espionage. Very good.
