First introduced in the early 1940's, the Gucci bamboo bag came into production as materials around Europe became scarce. Bamboo, which could still be abundantly sourced from Japan, was used under the influence of heat by Gucci craftsmen in a way that would retain its shape once positioned to the bag. The use of bamboo in the iconic Gucci bamboo embellished designs has transitioned into the "Bamboo Bullet Bag", which sticks to the classic assembly using 140 pieces by skilled craftsmen. This limited edition bullet bag made in Italy features a double shoulder strap, bamboo embellishment with flip lock front closure in the iconic monogrammed linen fabric with hand tooled embellished leather trim. Includes dust bag.
