Item Description

A lovely nude sketch by this talented artist. Listed in "Who was Who in American Art". Born Karlsbad, Czechoslovakia & Studied: Rotter Art School, Prague; Ruskin Art School, Oxford University, England; ASL New York; New School, NY; also with Frederic Taubes. The woman partially faces the viewer but is slightly turned away. One side of her body is done in yellowed and seems limned in light. Title appears to be "Respite". Sight size is 10 x 16&1/4". Framed size below.

Notes: Gold finish to frame mostly gone and flaking off.
