Antique Waterbury Mantle Clock Patent 1891 - French Porcelain Case Made In France - Romantic Floral Cherubs

Antique mantle clock:

Movement is made by Waterbury Clock Company, Waterbury, Conn., Patent January 1891. It has a porcelain face and brass bezel. It does not come with a key or pendulum. I tried a pendulum of mine, and it is working. It’s been ticking for seven hours now and is running fast. It is trying to chime, but it isn’t making a ring noise. It might be the pendulum I’m using as it might not be the correct size and weight. I can see several markings inside that indicate it was serviced over the years. One is from 1971.

The ceramic case is made in France (impressed on back) and has a floral design with cherubs and columns.

Notes: Some repairs have been made over the years (pieces chipped off and glued back on), one chip on left side, some hairline cracks.

Consistent with age and use.
