Prior to the symbol being used by the Germans in World War 2, it was referred to as a 'good luck whirling log' design, which has gone back centuries, indoctrinated by the Native Americans. It is salt-glazed, with powder blue accents. Circa 1910-1920. Several small flakes to the rim, but otherwise shows well.
