Antique print - South Entrance to the Electricity Building, Columbian Exposition (1893 Chicago World’s Fair). It is printed by George Barrie from the original painting by Richard Jack for ‘Art and Architecture’. George Barrie also published the aforesaid book about the exposition that included numerous illustrations. This piece has been sealed in plastic along with a matte and cardboard backing for safety. It is attached to the matte by glue, maybe.
Notes: The matte has chipping and tears, print is attached to matte and enclosed so complete condition is unknown. From what I can see, it looks clean.
Consistent with age and use.
