This portable double cell Faradic battery uses dry cell batteries to power an induction coil that produces a high voltage AC current. These kinds of Faradic cells were used for a variety of medical treatments up through 1938 when they were deemed to have no significant impact on any conditions. Now it's available to be displayed in a beautiful oak case as part of history.
